The Time CYPRES 2 is solely time related and is completely independent of any vertical descent rates. This is a popular choice for certain mannequin drop tests.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Like the Aircrew CYPRES 2, the Time CYPRES 2 has an arming cable. Once the arming cable is pulled, the unit starts counting down and activates the cutter at the pre-adjusted time. Any time between 0 and 999 seconds can be selected. If the cable is pushed in again, the unit will continue to count down for two more seconds and will then reset itself to the previous adjusted value. The unit can still be turned on via the normal four presses of the button to conduct a self-test. We provide custom length arming housings and arming cables based on the type of rig and configuration.
